-------------

Unsigned Debut: When did you guys start producing?

K: I was 14 and I had got this beat machine for Christmas and this keyboard and would play with them all the time and our parents were dating.

R: I was 13 and they would come over the house all the time.

K: Yeah, and Reggie would always be playing video games, but I would bring my drum machine with me and play with it. I would see him looking, and I realized that he had a bass guitar and I asked, “Can you play that?”

R: I was like yeah haha

K: And then that was it…we would just jam.

Unsigned Debut: What is like working with each other? Is it easier or more complex because you have to agree to a certain extent?

R: I think it’s easier and more fun.

K: True, and fast but yeah sometimes we do have to agree on who should do what or that type of stuff.

R:Also it might depend on the vibe of the song.

Unsigned Debut:How would you describe your sounds?

R: Like a mix of our influences.

K: Yeah or like getting a massage and then you put hand on a stove and being like “THAT’S HOT!” haha!

R: haha!

Unsigned Debut:How often do you make tracks? It seems like a new one is always on your MySpace.

K:: uh, I would say we try to do 2-5 in a day daily.

R: Unless it’s the weekend or summer then its all day so who knows…

Unsigned Debut:Which comes first, the song idea from the rapper or the beat?

R: We usually have hella beats so the rappers just pick.

K Sometimes though, we might be with the rapper and they’ll be like “hey, I got this idea” and we’ll start vibing on the spot.

Unsigned Debut:Skinny Jeans is a featured track on the site. What was going through your head when you made that beat?

K I'm gonna give this to Reggie. He’s the dude when it comes to those club like vibe tracks. I can do them too but I just help, I'm more of a laid back and just different stuff type of track maker, haha!

R: Haha, but man okay, all the beats on my flash drive were erased by some virus or something.

K Mine were fine, I was too happy.

R: Yeah and I was piiiiised! Papurboy had came over that day and was like “I have this idea for a GREAT song” he was telling us the ideas and just energy.

K:Yeah, incredible.

Unsigned Debut:Do you guys ever plan on becoming the producers turned rappers?

K:I can spit a little bit, but rapping? Naw, don’t think so, might make a few features but not albums or anything haha.

K:I wanna do like a Sammy Davis thing though when I'm like 55…so that would be dope…
